CoinBoom Review – How Realistic Can You Earn?
Hello everyone, It’s David here, I hope you are doing well.
Welcome to my CoinBoom review article.
Recently, I discovered an app called CoinBoom.
Unsurprisingly, it’s massively popular.
And why is that?
Well, the core reason is none other than its monetary rewards!
You may be seeking more information regarding its legitimacy in terms of real payouts.
So, is CoinBoom worth your time and effort?
How does it work?
More importantly, is it even possible to earn?
Let’s address these concerns in this review.
What Is CoinBoom?
CoinBoom is a rewarding app available on Google Play.
If you are using devices powered by Google’s Android, it’s downloadable for free.
Hence, you witness its massive popularity of more than one hundred thousand downloads.
More enticingly, it’s about the monetary rewards.
Yeah, that’s right, this app allows you to earn real money by participating in various tasks.
Also, do note that it’s still in the “early access” status at the time of writing.
It means that nobody can provide genuine feedback and reviews.
Normally, legitimate apps will not hide away by disabling feedback and reviews.
Instead, these developers advocate and encourage users to provide their experiences in the apps.
So, why is CoinBoom not allowing real feedback despite its massive traction of users?
That’s a big question mark.
How Do You Earn With CoinBoom?
When you launch the app for the first time, there are the terms and privacy policy located at the bottom of the screen.
You are encouraged to read them carefully to grasp the data security while participating in the app.
This action is crucial.
Why?
Well, before you can begin to participate in all the tasks, you have to grant data usage consent.
Yeah, you heard that right, my friends.
CoinBoom requires access to your phone’s data to keep track of all the third-party apps or games that you are actively participating in.
Before you can even enter the app, it will pop up a message asking for consent.
You will also be rewarded for your effort.
Let’s take a look below.
After granting consent, you will be rewarded with 150 in-app coins.
Now, 150 coins are too minute as far as coin accumulation is concerned.
You will know the precise answer shortly.
The app will only ask for the data access permission once.
If you reject it, it will not seek your consent again.
Hence, all your actively participating tasks will not be tracked correctly.
Also, take note that CoinBoom is demographically dependent.
It means that your residing country plays a major role in determining all the available tasks.
Primarily, CoinBoom says you can play games to earn coins.
It’s true.
If you are living in countries where there are offered games, earning the in-app coins will be an easier mission.
Unfortunately, not all the countries are treated fairly.
For example, I live in Malaysia, and there were only two tasks for me to participate in during my test.
It was a very disappointing experience.
Here’s what I mean.
However, if you are living in top-tier countries such as The United States, The United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and even the European countries, you can expect to see more apps and games.
At the bottom, you will see the “My Apps” tab.
This tab is the area where you keep track of all your participation progression together with the earned coins.
Also, I’ve spotted a massive flaw.
Understandably, the app’s primary unique selling proposition is game participation.
But then, even a food delivery app is classified as a game.
It looks strange with false correctness.
Here’s what I mean.
Does the app developer offer an opportunity to play an alternative game called FoodPanda?
It’s highly questionable!
Whenever you enter the app, identify all the offered games and apps in the “featured” tab, then choose your preferred one to play and participate.
Fundamentally, that’s the core concept of CoinBoom.
One rule of thumb is that you have to participate in all the apps and games inside CoinBoom, which will allow the app to track your playtime and task accomplishments correctly.
If you exit the app and download all the similar apps and games from the Google Play Store separately, all your efforts will not be credited.
So, take note of that.
How Do You Get Paid?
Earlier, I mentioned that CoinBoom is geographically dependent.
So, depending on where you live, you may find different coin redemption options.
As an illustration, I will show you all the payout options in my country.
They might not be relevant to you but I just want to show you a rough idea of what to expect.
In my country, there are six redeemable amounts.
The coin requirements to unlock each of them are extremely gigantic!
They are:
RM500 – one million coins
RM1000 – two million coins
RM1500 – three million coins
RM2500 – five million coins
RM4000 – eight million coins
RM5000 – ten million coins
Here’s the screenshot if you prefer to see them visually.
Take a look at the requirements to unlock all the payouts, they are extremely large sums!
So, what do all the big numbers mean?
Well, let’s proceed to discuss the realistic chance of redeeming any of the payout amounts.
I will take the lowest amount which is RM500.
If you convert it to USD, it’s approximately $107.58.
This is the conversion rate at the time of writing.
It may fluctuate from time to time dynamically.
To earn $107.58, you have to accumulate a massive one million coins.
Now, isn’t that amount scary?
It’s huge and it seems like an impossible task to accomplish.
So, let’s get to the main course of this article, how realistic can you redeem all the real payouts?
Well, my honest answer is it will be a mystery forever.
The reason is simple.
The app developer cleverly implemented the high payout thresholds.
It will be extremely difficult to unlock any of them, even the lowest payout amount.
Let’s visualize this scenario, say each task rewards you with 50 coins, and you need to complete a whopping 20,000 tasks!
To me, it’s terrifying.
Imagine how much time and effort you have to devote just to unlock the lowest payout.
We haven’t even talked about the rest of the payout amounts that require even more coins to unlock.
The Cons – What I Dislike About CoinBoom
- Uncertainty of apps and game availability
- Extremely high payout thresholds
- There are risks that time and effort will be wasted for nothing
- The “early status” sparks a certain level of honesty
My Final Thoughts
The core concept behind CoinBoom isn’t spectacularly impressive.
I’ve seen it again and again.
The same idea has been adopted by many of the unattractive rewarding apps.
And the outcome usually leads to huge disappointments.
I’m deeply disappointed due to its lack of transparency, high payout thresholds, and the limited number of apps to participate in.
Hence, the outcome is highly predictable.
Time and effort investment without real payouts.
It may take forever to unlock any of the payout amounts.
Now, if you ask me, David, are there other alternatives to make money online?
There are much better alternatives.
I highly suggest you check out my Freecash review.
It’s a rewarding platform that has been capturing the hearts of many users.
Why?
Well, it pays unmistakably.
And to add another layer of sweetness, there are plethoras of tasks to participate in.
There are also lots of payout options.
So regardless of your preferred choice, there’s something to satisfy you.
And its low payout thresholds make everyone happy!
Next, I also suggest you check out my PrizeRebel review.
It’s my second recommendation due to its track record of shaping the market research industry for nearly two decades.
At the time of writing, it still performs at its highest peak to help members around the world generate additional income on the side.
So, I hope you found this review article helpful and informative.
