Border Agent Review – Is It An Illusion To Earn With This Game?

There’s a sole reason for that.
For me, I was enticed hugely by its bold claim of the potential reapable $1000 reward.
I was attracted by this and here I am, exploring the discovery journey with you.

Or maybe your primary objective is still to discover the earning legitimacy.

Border Agent is an enemy shooting casual game available on Google Play.
It’s not an ordinary shooting game though.
You will be confronted with enemies in the military world from the likes of soldiers and even diplomats!
I mentioned its weak popularity earlier.
If you want to know the exact scenario, this game has been downloaded more than ten thousand times at the time of writing.
Unlike most of the casual games that offer potential rewards, Border Agent doesn’t perform so well to match the levels of those games.
Interestingly, it’s still under the status of “early access”.
Why is that?
I’m absolutely clueless.
Despite it’s already a fully functional game, the “early access” status is still valid.
So, if you want to read other players’ feedback and experience, it’s not possible to do so.
You also can’t provide your genuine feedback and review.
That’s something to take note of.
It’s easy to get started with Border Agent.
You just have to download and install it.
After installation, you can start playing and earning virtual rewards.
It doesn’t require you to create a game account.
So, in terms of convenience, that’s a positive trait worth a thumbs up.
But then the downside is that you can start to visualize the realistic scenario of reaping any real rewards.
It may disappoint to a huge extent.
Once you launch the game, it will show you a quick tutorial.
You have to follow along to kickstart your journey with Border Agent.

How Do You Earn With Border Agent?
Did you see the little hand pointing behind your character’s head?
That’s the area where all actions happen!
Tap on it to start firing ammunition.
The game algorithm designs it to shoot automatically at a slow and steady pace.
If you want to amplify the pace, you have to start tapping and the shooting rapidness depends on your finger tapping speed.
Immediately, you will feel the fun and excitement.
After eliminating random enemies, you will be greeted with a surprise.
What is that?
You may ask curiously.
Well, a big boss awaits you.
The game will show you a big warning in red before you duel with the boss.
How about the potential reward?
That’s what matters most, right?
When you are playing the game, any successful attempt of defeating the enemies will trigger a virtual reward.
Sometimes, it’s the in-game coins.
Sometimes, it’s the in-game gems.
Both of them are the direct representation of the in-game rewards.
During my testing, I was rewarded with 10821 gems during my first victory against a soldier.
Let’s take a look below.
As you make progress in the game, you will become more powerful.
When that happens, you will eliminate all the enemies at a much faster rate.
The higher damage numbers show that visually.
Hence, the frequencies of reaping virtual rewards increase as you grow stronger and stronger.
That’s the moment you will taste a glimpse of disappointment.
Why?
Let me reveal the truth, it’s all about video ads monetization.
It’s nothing more complex than that.
You see, as you conquer enemies, more reward windows will appear.
It will not take you a long time to tap on a reward only to realize that an unattractive video ad awaits you.
Even worse, this video ad is unskippable.
That’s why I said earlier that you will be hugely disappointed.
Technically speaking, the stronger your character becomes, the more video ads will be waiting for you.
That would not be a pleasant experience playing the game.
Your excitement level could be ruined by those ads.
The developer also optimizes monetization through various activities that you could do and participate in.
Both parties win and gain benefits.
You will be exposed to more ads.
But you will also accumulate rewards faster.
Let’s quickly go through each of them.
Spin the lucky wheel
Spinning the “wheel of fortune” is arguably one of the most common events in many reward games.
Border Agent knows that precisely and implemented it in the game.
When you are playing the game, you can tap on the little wheel picture at the bottom of the screen.
Here’s what I mean.
Participate in the daily event
To advance your character much faster, Border Agent has daily events designed specifically for you.
Complete all the required tasks to earn in-games coins and other relevant rewards.
Let’s take a look below.
How Do You Get Paid?
Theoretically, Border Agent sets the minimum redemption threshold at $1000.
Meaning that you need to accumulate at least one thousand in-game rewards to qualify for the reward.
Strangely, I already earned more than five figures in-game coins during testing.
And I’m more than qualified to redeem the reward.
Funnily, the game didn’t show anything for me to redeem the reward.
It also didn’t specify precisely what are the exact equivalence of the values of the in-game coins that can be exchanged for $1000.
What does this scenario mean?
Well, the claim is just a fantasy within the virtual world.
It’s not going to materialize in real life.
Think about it honestly, can you earn by just playing the shooting game endlessly?
That would be ridiculous, right?
Besides, I always remind and tell my readers that when something looks too good to be true, it is.
Stay away from it to prevent being hurt or victimized.
In the scenario of Border Agent, it’s your time and effort losses.

If you have been exploring the reward games industry, Border Agent is just another unattractive creation to reap benefits from your time and effort.
You also knew that this game is focused heavily on video ads monetization solely for the developer.
Guess what I’ve secretly discovered?
Well, the game even knows that you will be annoyed and frustrated with the ads.
You may think it’s a smart idea to minimize the game to the “recently used apps” tab on your Android device to skip the video ads.
As long as you didn’t quit the game entirely, it will calculate your “away time”.
And when you return, it will entice you to keep playing with double rewards.
The condition is to watch more video ads.
So, I don’t encourage you to play this game.
All the potential reapable rewards are not going to materialize.
As for the game, it will be very boring and unattractive as well.
Your time is much better spent on other more meaningful tasks and activities such as jogging and accompanying your sons and daughters.
