Cash Tap Review – How Genuine Is This App?
Hello everyone, It’s David here, I hope you are doing well.
Welcome to my Cash Tap review article.
Recently, you discovered an app known as Cash Tap?
Its commercial mentions that you can earn easily by just tapping.
So, how true is this claim?
How does it work?
How realistic can you earn?
More importantly, should you spend your valuable time with this app or stay away completely?
Let’s find out the answers in this review.
What Is Cash Tap?
Cash Tap is an app with reward traits available on Google Play for the Android mobile operating system.
Unlike other reward apps, Cash Tap is uniquely different.
The uniqueness is on the negative side instead of the positive.
Why do I say that?
Well, first and foremost, it doesn’t possess any fundamental value at all.
The entire app is centered on endless finger-tapping.
I will explain how it works in just a moment.
Despite its lack of value, Cash Tap can still manage to attract more than 500,000 downloads at the time of writing.
I guess most people were attracted by the “enticing commercial” of earning.
It’s easy to get started with Cash Tap.
All you need to do is to download and install it.
After downloading, simply launch the app to begin.
Firstly, you will be presented with “terms and policy” pages.
I suggest you read through them precisely to understand your rights and privacy protection as a participant.
Also, to speed up participation and earning, Cash Tap doesn’t need you to fill up any form.
You also don’t need to associate your Google or social media accounts with the app.
So, in terms of convenience, it saves you time.
Once you have granted consent and accepted its terms of usage, you will be brought to the main interface.
Let’s take a look below.
As you can see, its interface is relatively simple.
That’s all that Cash Tap looks like aesthetically.
How Do You Earn With Cash Tap?
The idea around Cash Tap is simple.
Before you get started with the app, it will reward you with a welcome bonus of a virtual amount.
Depending on your residing country, the amount may be different.
In my scenario, I was rewarded with RM0.50 which is equivalent to $0.11, the currency conversion rate at the time of writing.
To begin earning the virtual amount, simply tap the big button with the dollar sign.
That’s how simple it is to participate fundamentally.
Also, there will be a progress bar located next to your earned virtual cash amount.
And it’s colored in blue as it moves towards the finish line.
What is the purpose of the five round shapes located right beneath the progress bar?
You may ask.
Well, those round shapes are the “overheating” indicators.
I’m not sure why the developer uses the term “overheat” but it is what it is.
When you are tapping, pay attention to the tapping speed and pace.
If you are tapping too fast, that’s the moment the “overheat” shapes start to light up.
When the “overheat” status reaches its maximum limit, you can no longer tap to move the progress bar.
To rectify the “overheat” problem, you will be presented with a random third-party app to download.
You have to participate in the task or continue to get stuck endlessly with overheating!
Let’s assume a scenario here.
If you can successfully tap to move the bar to the finish line, the system will generate a random virtual amount as a reward.
If you triggered the “overheating” and endured the “third-party app” download task, the progress bar will continue to move till the end.
So, these are the two fundamental ways of making sure the progress bar reaches its destination.
Then, you will be rewarded virtually.
Now, I mentioned the word “virtually”.
It means that there’s no guarantee that any earned amount can be converted to real monetary value.
To enhance earning efficiency, Cash Tap allows you to utilize two tools.
They are:
The power tap tool
This tool enables you to increase your earnings by ten percent.
But there’s a caveat.
You have to endure video ads.
And they are unskippable.
That’s the sacrifice you have to endure.
The auto-tapping tool
Now, this tool is transparently a cheating hack!
Here’s the thing, my friends, your finger will become extremely tired when you tap continuously for a prolonged period.
Therefore, the developer came up with this lousy idea of auto tapping feature.
Again, you have to make a sacrifice to enable this tool.
This tool doesn’t require you to watch video ads.
But it requires you to participate in a more difficult task.
You have to download a random app presented to you.
Not only that, you have to complete the specific task requirement.
For example, if it’s a game, you may be required to play and progress until a certain level or defeat certain game bosses.
So, theoretically, you can boost the progress bar movement with the tools I mentioned.
But the requirement to unlock the tools is heavily priced in terms of your time and effort spent.
How Do You Get Paid?
Even with the game mechanics of straightforwardness, the journey to convert your earned amount is full of thorns.
You may get hurt if you are not careful.
In this context, it means you will be extremely disappointed when your effort doesn’t translate to cashing out.
Your biggest obstacle in the earning journey is the difficulty of tapping the progress to the destination.
Whenever it approaches the finish line, a message will pop up notifying you that your session is “overheated”.
Not again…
Despite your frustration, there’s nothing you can do about it.
Here’s what I mean.
I was delayed by this overheating issue during testing time.
Coincidentally, Candy Crush Saga is a game that I already installed on my phone for a long time.
So, instead of asking me to download and play the game, I got stuck here indefinitely!
Since this game is already on my phone, the game’s algorithm failed to identify the situation.
So, the bar progression journey ended disastrously for me!
Unless I uninstall and reinstall the app, it doesn’t work anymore no matter how many times I relaunch the app.
Back to the earning part.
So, how realistic can you receive any payment from Cash Tap?
On paper, it claims that any completed progress bar amount will be paid automatically into your PayPal account.
That’s the theory part.
The realistic scenario is completely different.
The answer is “it’s a big question mark.”
Only the developer can provide a precise answer.
It lies solely at the discretion of the developer.
But if you seek my opinion, I can tell you that I’m not very optimistic.
The reason is simple.
I always tell and remind my readers that when something is too good to be true, it is.
Absorb and digest this reminder and you will be safe from prying eyes to be victimized.
The Pros – What I like About Cash Tap
- Free to play
The Cons – What I Dislike About Cash Tap
- Unattractive game design and implementation
- Users have to endure undesirable tasks participation
- Has unskippable video ads
- Uncertainty in earning real monetary value
My Final Thoughts
I’m sure you noticed that Cash Tap has been poorly designed and implemented.
It shows the desperation of monetization for the developer instead of rewarding you.
It’s also ridiculously unattractive.
If you observe deeper, it doesn’t offer any value at all apart from the free-to-play app model.
That’s the only subpar positive side of it.
Think about it, it’s extremely ridiculous that you tap endlessly just to redeem the unknown virtual amount.
Besides, it’s already problematic to complete the progress bar let alone successfully convert the earned virtual amount.
So, if you are here for the monetary reward, Cash Tap isn’t the right candidate for you to consider.
It isn’t worth your time and effort even though it’s free to play.
Now, if you ask me, David, are there much better alternatives to earn money online?
Well, the answer is yes, there are.
I highly suggest you check out my Freecash review, it’s a detailed article on everything about the platform, specifically the earning parts.
Freecash is arguably one of the best rewarding platforms in the world.
It’s phenomenal in every aspect, and more importantly, there are plethoras of ways to earn coins that are redeemable for lots of rewards including cash withdrawals.
Additionally, I also encourage you to check out my PrizeRebel review.
It’s also my top recommendation when it comes to generating extra income online.
You can participate in various tasks such as surveys to kickstart your earning journey.
So, I hope you found this review article helpful and informative.
