It didn’t take me long to discover the truth during my test.
Almost everything that you do in the game will trigger video ads.
And the worst part is that these video ads are unskippable.
Meaning that you have to watch them at full length before getting any virtual rewards.

Whenever you flip any bottles to the chequered flag, you will be rewarded with gems.
It’s easily identifiable by a horizontal line with black and white signs.
The game will give you the option to multiply the gem reward.
The condition is to watch a video ad.

As you can see, the light blue call to action button shows a hint of a video ad that will be waiting for you.
Also, I naively thought that by tapping on the “no thanks”, I could skip the unattractive video ad.
I was wrong!
Regardless of any actions I took during the test, video ads showed up.
They annoyed me to a very huge extent.
Why?
Well, they are very intrusive, unattractive, and spammy.
Even when I was playing the game, video ads kept showing up out of nowhere!
It wasn’t even during receiving virtual rewards.
So, the developer shows a very deep desperation to monetize your time and effort by displaying endless video ads.

As I explored deeper and deeper into the game, the excitement level plummeted to rock bottom.

The requirement is to reach the “finish line” (chequered flag).
When you conquer six levels consecutively, you unlock the eligibility to open the treasure.
Disappointingly, it was a hoax during my test!
I was tricked completely and unprepared for that.
