Funzine Review – Is This App Real Or Fake?

Funzine is an Android app that offers rewards for reading articles.

Its concept and design are very similar to an app I reviewed called Tubebox.
The only significant difference is the swapping between reading articles and watching YouTube videos.
So, I know exactly what to expect from Funzine.
Despite its questionable genuineness, it still manages to attract more than five hundred thousand people installing it.
That’s an astonishing achievement in terms of popularity.
How do I begin with Funzine?
You may ask.
Well, Funzine doesn’t require you to fill up a registration form to create an account.
You can install and ride onboard instantly.
When you enter its interface for the first time, it will guide you with simple tutorials.
Once you are familiar with its concept, it’s time to start reading articles!

I mentioned earlier that reading articles is the main activity you will do in the app.

When you enter the app daily, Funzine has a daily event designed specifically for you.
You simply have to fulfill the tasks’ requirements.
For example, reading articles for a specific duration.
If you can complete this event consecutively for seven days, more rewards await you.

Stay in the app
Funzine encourages you to keep indulging in the app to maximize its video ads monetization.
So, as long as you stay in the app, the coin rewards will be generated automatically.
That’s one brilliant trick to entice you and me to keep using the app!
Participate in the mystery box event
Besides virtual amounts, Funzine also offers the opportunity to redeem many luxury physical prizes.
How luxurious can they be?
Well, how about prizes such as the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch?
This is how you can participate.
You read at least two articles in full length.
And be sure to read slowly and not to scroll too fast to avoid the algorithm penalty.
Then, the app will reward you with shards.
You use the earned shards to open the blind box.
Three shards are needed to open one box.
Once opened, you will receive random tokens to unlock respective prizes.
For example, the PlayStation 5 requires 75 tokens to unlock.
After exploring thus far, you can observe a pattern showcased by Funzine.
The developer is trying his best to retain you to keep using the app by reading endless articles.
Hence, additional lucrativeness is here to entice you further.
How Do You Get Paid?
Your ultimate goal in the app is to reach the magic number of $300.
It can be accumulated through multiplied rewards or exchanged with virtual coins.
Everything will be calculated towards the virtual cash earnings.
Funzine also offers various methods to redeem your rewards such as PayPal, Cash App, and Coinbase.
On paper, these are the redeemable options and amount.
Now, let’s elaborate on the realistic scenario.
Realistically, what are your chances to receive all the accumulated virtual cash amounts and prizes?
I’ve tested the app for some time.
And let me be completely honest, it didn’t take me long to accumulate virtual cash amounts.
You will experience the same scenario as well.
For example, after five minutes of exploring the app, I was able to accumulate near to $167.
Another example is the app will reward you with a mind-blowing welcome bonus of $100 when you enter the app for the first time.
Here’s what I mean.
If you look at the amount, it’s amazing, right?
It sparks excitement.

That’s the truth you have to accept.
My honest opinion is to ditch and stay away from Funzine.

Sadly, the developer of this app will not fulfill any payout requests.
That’s the truth you have to accept, it’s painful to know but that’s the reality of most of the unpromising fake reward apps.
The reality is they want to make use of your time to maximize ads monetization.
I suggest you don’t further spend time on this app.
It isn’t worth your valuable time and effort.
