Scratch Cash Review – It’s Not That Straightforward To Earn
Hello everyone, It’s David here, I hope you are doing well.
Welcome to my Scratch Cash review article.
I was searching for rewarding games and discovered Scratch Cash.
At the moment, it’s extremely popular with a total download of more than five hundred thousand times.
Isn’t that insane?
What are the core reasons for its massive popularity?
The curiosity to discover the truths has led me to uncover Scratch Cash deeper.
You might also be on the same page.
So, what exactly is the unique selling proposition of Scratch Cash?
What values does it offer in terms of financial rewards?
More importantly, is it even possible to earn real payouts?
Let’s find out all the answers in this review.
What Is Scratch Cash?
Earlier, I mentioned Scratch Cash is extremely popular.
Since it’s a rewarding game with the word “cash”, it’s completely understandable that it offers monetary rewards.
It’s available on Google Play.
As long as you are using a device powered by Android, it’s downloadable for free.
Yeah, this game is free to play but there are caveats.
I will elaborate further in a moment.
After installing the game, you will be brought to the core game mechanics immediately.
That’s right, my friends.
The game will showcase card after card for you to scratch!
Here’s what its interface looks like.
As you can see, it’s a relatively simple interface.
The parts where you have to pay attention are the coins and the payout areas.
All your earned coins are shown at the top of the game interface, and the payout can be found at the bottom.
How Do You Earn With Scratch Cash?
Initially, I thought that scratching the cards was the primary way to earn coins.
I was wrong.
The scenario gets tricky as you progress along the journey.
But before I dive into the surprising discovery, let’s just quickly go through the ways to earn and accumulate coins.
Play the core card-scratching game
Understandably, playing the card-scratching game is the primary way to earn in-game coins.
You will be presented with randomly chosen cards with specific themes and background illustrations.
Your tasks are to scratch the entire card to reveal the hidden objects.
If the revealed card has three identical objects, you will be rewarded with coins.
Here’s an example.
Participate in the mission event
The mission event can also be regarded as the daily reward.
The game encourages you to come back to the game daily.
Hence, you are allowed to participate in the mission event.
To complete the mission event, you have to participate in the “spin the wheel” games and also scratch the card four times.
When you complete both of the missions, the PayPal redemption option will be unlocked.
Let’s take a look below.
Participate in the “spin the wheel” event
I just mentioned the requirements to unlock PayPal Cash redemption.
One of them is to participate in the spin the wheel event.
What you do is test your luck by spinning the wheel.
The rewards will be in the form of in-game coins.
And these coins will be rewarded based on your luck.
There are two options to trigger the wheel spinning.
First, you use the earned coins to spin the wheels.
Each spinning attempt costs 10,000 in-game coins.
Second, you can watch a video ad to spin consecutively five times.
Yeah, you heard it right, my friends, the game allows you to spin five times simply by watching a video ad.
You can watch as many video ads as you wish to trigger even more spinning.
Theoretically, the more rounds you spin, the more coins you acquire.
Hence, for the first time, the game introduces its video ads monetization.
Thankfully, watching a video ad for five spins is optional.
You can choose to disregard the video ad completely by using coins to spin the wheel.
Here’s what I mean.
Next, let’s talk about the surprising discovery I mentioned earlier.
The earning opportunities offered in Scratch Cash are not about scratching cards and accumulating coins.
These activities are the prerequisites for the main tasks.
What are the tasks?
You may wonder.
Well, these tasks are playing third-party associated games.
Yeah, that’s right.
It was quite surprising when I first discovered this truth.
Here’s how it works.
When you complete the mission event, the PayPal cash redemptions will be unlocked.
And exploring deeper will showcase the main intention of the entire game creation.
The developer of Scratch Cash wants you to play and participate in third-party games.
It looks strange but that’s the reality.
Moving forward, you will be accumulating vouchers instead of coins.
The accumulated vouchers are your new asset in Scratch Cash.
How do you earn and maximize voucher acquisition?
Well, the simple answer is to play the offered games.
These games will be added dynamically as new game developers and advertisers reach an agreement with the developer of Scratch Cash.
One thing to take note of is that you will need to grant consent for Scratch Cash to gain access to your phone’s data.
Android will also show and warn you of potential data privacy risks.
So, proceed only if you have fully understood and given consent.
Next, you choose desired games to play.
Now, you will be brought outside the game straight to Google Play.
After the game installation, you need to come back to Scratch Cash to keep track of your voucher accumulation.
Every game rewards differently.
So, the more games you play, the more vouchers will be waiting for you to collect.
To ease your participation experience, all your installed games will be placed under the “your app” tab.
How Do You Get Paid?
Do you still remember the mission task?
Well, the analogy of real payout is that you participate in the mission tasks.
Once the PayPal cash redemptions have been unlocked, you will need to play the third-party games.
Hence, collecting vouchers will be your primary task in Scratch Cash.
So, indirectly, you are forced to play the associated games inside Scratch Cash.
Now, the question is, how realistic can you exchange all the earned vouchers for real PayPal cash rewards?
Well, at the time of writing, there are no indications that real payouts will be dishonored.
However, be prepared to endure a journey full of thorns.
What do I even mean?
Firstly, there’s a strict requirement to receive a real payout.
You have to go through facial recognition verification.
Some may argue that this requirement is to enhance the security of withdrawing real money.
But then, I see it as an act of infiltrating privacy.
Imagine a game developer gaining access to your identity through facial recognition.
What if your identity ended up in the hands of unethical individuals?
Secondly, if you spend time browsing through the real comments, there’s a player whose PayPal account is on the brink of being compromised.
Now, this is a big concern.
Why?
Well, think deeper and consciously, what will happen if your entire PayPal account is hacked and exploited?
It would be disastrous.
So, yeah, on paper, Scratch Cash does look legitimate by offering you to play third-party games to earn real payouts.
But if you look at all the details associated with the compensation, there are way too many risks than earning real payouts.
Hence, my suggestion is to approach Scratch Cash with a pinch of salt.
Don’t rely one hundred percent completely on it hoping that real payouts are attainable.
Big disappointments may be waiting for you.
Even worse, there are probabilities that you could lose money instead of earning small little money by playing the games inside Scratch Cash.
Most importantly, I always remind and tell my readers that when something looks too good to be true, it is.
Pay attention with full alertness.
Any carelessness can lead to huge losses.
So, you have been informed.
The Cons – What I Dislike About Scratch Cash
- No clear signs of potential earnable amounts
- There are hidden caveats within the core game
- The likelihood of privacy and PayPal accounts security threats
- Unattractive core game mechanics
My Final Thoughts
The truth has been revealed.
Scratch Cash is about playing third-party games.
The game developer will reap a piece of the pie from revenues generated from the partnerships through sponsorship and video ad revenues.
Even though this game doesn’t excessively lean towards video ads, it still offers video ads to speed up your mission task completion.
The most disappointing aspect of the game is the potentiality of a compromised PayPal account.
So, I would not recommend Scratch Cash based on this reason alone.
Now, if you ask me, David, are there much better alternatives to earn money online?
Well, the answer is yes, there are.
I highly suggest you check out my Freecash review, it’s a detailed article on everything about the platform, specifically the earning parts.
Freecash is arguably one of the best rewarding platforms in the world.
It’s phenomenal in every aspect, and more importantly, there are plethoras of ways to earn coins that are redeemable for lots of rewards including cash withdrawals.
Additionally, I also encourage you to check out my PrizeRebel review.
It’s also my top recommendation when it comes to generating extra income online.
