Hello everyone, It’s David here, I hope you are doing well.
Welcome to my Lucky Wifi review article.
Did you discover an app known as Lucky Wifi while searching for wifi speed and signal optimization apps?
Besides wifi optimization, it also offers an opportunity to earn.
Perhaps some of you are interested in Lucky Wifi solely for monetary rewards.
When I first heard about it, it triggered my curiosity to discover deeper.
Is it true that this app allows you to earn real money?
How does it work?
Does it provide any value worthy of your time and effort?
Let’s find out all the answers in this review.
What Is Lucky Wifi?
Lucky Wifi is a wifi optimization app available on Google Play.
At the time of writing, it’s insanely popular.
How popular is it?
You may wonder.
Well, it has surpassed the one million downloads mark.
So, why is the app so popular?
Is it simply because of the wifi tweaking and optimization?
The answer is not exactly, my friends!
I’m sure most of the people who are installing this app have a goal to accomplish which is to earn a real monetary reward.
As unreasonable as it seems, that’s the scenario that transpires its massive popularity.
But then, how realistic can you earn with it?
We will discover the truth shortly.
Here’s the look of the app interface.
How Do You Earn With Lucky Wifi?
You’ve seen its main interface.
Lucky Wifi offers tools for you to test and optimize various speeds.
For example, you can test your current network speed to identify the actual download and upload speeds in real time.
But then, let’s be honest, most of us are here for another reason.
I’m talking about the earning opportunity!
Well, it’s simple to earn the in-app rewards.
You simply have to accumulate coins.
They are accumulatable through various tasks.
One of the most obvious tasks is to watch video commercials.
You see, as soon as you enter the game for the first time, it will prompt you to watch a video ad in exchange for coins.
And the worst part of it is that you have to endure the video ads at full length.
Meaning that every video ad you watch in the app is unskippable.
So, do take note of that.
To earn coins at a faster pace, the developer also has in-app games for you to play and participate in.
For example, you can play the lucky box game to earn even more coins.
Expectedly, there’s a caveat.
Is it watching video ads?
Yeah, you guessed it correctly, my friends!
You have to watch video ads, and there are lots of them waiting for you if you want to speed up the coin accumulation.
How many coins can I receive when I watch a video ad?
You may ask.
Well, typically, each video ad will reward you with thousands of coins.
The app has a built-in algorithm to calculate the coin’s rewards.
And to avoid any suspiciousness, the coin’s rewards are random.
Hence, many people may tend to believe that the earning aspect of this app is genuine.
How Do You Get Paid?
Every one hundred thousand coins you collect in the app has a virtual value of $1.
Also, there’s a threshold for you to meet before you can unlock the redemption eligibility.
Many of us were enticed by the quick and easy earning of $30, right?
Yeah, that’s the redemption threshold.
And you have to accumulate 1800000 coins to meet the threshold.
So, you can do the math.
How many video ads do you have to watch to reach 1.8 million coins?
That would be total madness.
It’s unimaginable to a huge extent.
As I mentioned earlier that the video ads are unskippable, it makes the process even more painful.
Say if each video ad rewards 3000 coins on average.
This scenario will translate to six hundred video ads.
And each video ad has a thirty seconds countdown timer.
You will need to watch hours of video ads.
And these ads are unattractive and look spammy and intrusive.
I barely can endure one ad let alone six hundred ads.
So, everything that I just talked about is based on theory.
On paper, the redeemable amount is set at $30 with hours of video ads watching time.
Realistically, what are your real chances of redeeming this amount successfully?
Well, my honest answer is don’t be too optimistic.
The reason is simple.
Think carefully and consciously, can you earn real money so easily by just watching endless video ads?
It doesn’t make any complete sense at all.
It should be the other way around.
As a developer who needs to spend resources to code a wifi optimization app, he should be charging users instead, right?
Based on this illogical scenario alone, it’s unlikely that anyone will receive any real payouts.
Besides, I always remind and tell my readers that when something looks too good to be true, it is.
It’s wise to stay away from apps that offer exaggerated lucrativeness or fakeness that is completely illogical.
The Pros – What I like About Lucky Wifi
- Free to use
- Many options to test real-time speeds
- Also has speed optimizations
The Cons – What I Dislike About Lucky Wifi
- Misleads users to accumulate coins
- Lots of video ads
- Unknown chances of receiving real payouts
My Final Thoughts
Lucky Wifi could be a useful app that optimizes your wifi speed.
But sadly, the truth has been revealed.
It’s all about video ads monetization.
The direction of the app has been steered completely off track.
Think about it for a moment, why would a wifi speed and optimization app offer something so irrelevant, right?
Clearly, there are hidden intentions of the entire app creation, which is to monetize your time and mobile data that makes the developer’s wallet thicker.
I mentioned earlier that I can’t even endure one single video ad during my test.
I’m sure many of you may be on the same page as me.
But then many of you may still naively believe that real payout can be materialized.
The truth will disappoint you hugely.
No, you will not receive any real payouts.
That’s the truth you have to accept and live with it.
My honest advice is to stay away from this app.
After all, our main intention in coming to Lucky Wifi is to explore deeper about its earning opportunity, right?
Since the answer has been revealed, there isn’t any significant value left on the table by this app.
If you are keen to optimize your home wifi network, there are many useful apps.
For example, ScanFi is a relatively powerful wifi speed and optimization app that is much better than Lucky Wifi.
The best thing is that it is relevant by its name and doesn’t monetize excessively with video ads.
Imagine how much mobile data you would potentially lose if you keep spending time on Lucky Wifi to watch all the video ads.
Think carefully and you will understand why I don’t recommend this app.
Now, if you ask me, David, are there much better alternatives to earn money online?
Well, the answer is yes, there are.
I highly suggest you check out my Freecash review, it’s a detailed article on everything about the platform, specifically the earning parts.
Freecash is arguably one of the best rewarding platforms in the world.
It’s phenomenal in every aspect, and more importantly, there are plethoras of ways to earn coins that are redeemable for lots of rewards including cash withdrawals.
