Merge Money Ball Review – How Realistic Can You Earn With This Game?
Hello everyone, It’s David here, I hope you are doing well.
Welcome to my Merge Money Ball review article.
So, you saw an advertisement of a handsome man holding physical cash in both hands?
His smile is so genuine that it is as if genuine happiness has been showcased.
You were convinced to discover more, right?
Is it true that you can replicate his scenario?
Can you also earn real monetary value like him?
Or is it just an illusion?
More importantly, should you play?
Is it worth your time?
Let’s find out all the answers in this review.
What Is Merge Money Ball?
Merge Money Ball is a simple casual game available on Google Play.
It’s not just an ordinary game.
Many players have been attracted to it due to the offered lucrativeness.
We will explore deeper to find out the truth in just a moment.
For now, let’s continue to understand what it is.
To welcome you to the game with ease, this game doesn’t need you to create any game account.
You simply download and launch it.
Then, it will automatically assign a random player ID with a toon (avatar) to you.
It’s as simple as that.
At the time of writing, this game has already attracted more than one hundred thousand players.
That’s something very astonishing.
It shows that the advertisement tactic I mentioned earlier in the article works for them.
When you launch the game for the first time, it will guide you through a series of quick tutorials.
Follow along and you will be brought right into the game.
Also, I was surprised to discover that the game rewarded me with a virtual cash reward even during the tutorial.
Seriously, my friends!
Here’s what I mean.
Wow, it’s $8.88!
It even shows that there are “30 of them remaining” suggesting that more surprises await me.
Here’s what its interface looks like.
How Do You Earn With Merge Money Ball?
When you look at the game interface, its overall design is relatively acceptable.
It suggests an indulging and smooth gaming experience for players.
But once you try to play the game longer, you will discover the ugliness behind the curtain.
My game test session has been ruined by it.
It’s simple to play the game.
You tap and align the shown ball that has a specific number on it.
Then you release your finger to let it roll down the board to merge with other similar balls.
It’s that simple.
Occasionally, you will also merge with a bigger and more colorful ball, keys, and even the extra game coins.
Here’s one of them, the extra game coins.
Did you see the little video icon located inside the call to action button?
Well, you have to watch a video ad to receive the multiplied coin rewards.
And the video ad is unskippable.
That’s why I mentioned earlier that the game ruined my gaming experience earlier.
What you see is only the appetizer or the ice tip.
More madness awaits you.
When you are playing the game, it won’t take you long for the game to show you the “potential virtual cash reward” regardless of what balls you merge.
If you merge the bigger colorful ball, it is for sure this message will show up.
But even merging other balls will trigger it.
Here’s what I mean.
Tapping on the “open” button will trigger a video ad instantly.
And brutally enough, the ad looks spammy, unattractive, and another notorious make-money app.
Expectedly, it’s unskippable.
So, you will have to watch it entirely to receive the virtual cash reward.
This is one of the madness I discovered.
There’s another one which I will reveal later.
The only way you can skip the video ad is by forcefully exiting the game and going back to your Android screen.
Remember to exit the game also from your “recently and frequently used tab” on your device.
Are there other types of virtual rewards?
You may ask.
Well, there are.
I will list them down one by one.
Spinning the lucky wheel
The wheel of fortune game feature has been implemented by most of the games with reward traits.
It’s no exception with Merge Money Ball.
During gameplay, simply tap on the mini “wheel” icon to participate.
Once inside, a big wheel awaits you.
When you spin, numerous rewards await you.
For example, you could win in-game coins, puzzles, keys, and even virtual cash.
Collect three keys to unlock mystery chests
You play the game as usual to collect the keys.
Once you have collected three keys, a surprising screen will greet you.
Let’s take a look below.
As you can see from the illustration, you could potentially receive lucrative prizes. such as MacBook Pro and Samsung 5G smartphone.
Refer others to play
Now, this is the hidden gem of the game.
It’s also a blessing and a curse.
Why is that?
It’s because Merge Money Ball is one of the very few games or the only game that offer the in-game referral system.
Tap on the menu to locate the referral screen.
Theoretically, you can earn 50% of your direct referral in-game rewards.
When your direct referral refers another friend to play, you will receive 25% of his in-game rewards.
So, if you have persuasive skills, the referral system can increase your earnings significantly.
How Do You Get Paid?
Merge Money Ball showcases several unique traits.
Many of them are towards the ugly side.
It doesn’t have any redemption threshold for you to meet.
Instead, any virtual amounts earned in the game can be redeemed instantly.
There are only two conditions you need to meet.
Let’s take a look below.
Well, the virtual cash rewards look so near yet so far, right?
And you can also notice my virtual earnings are stuck at $.8.88.
The reason is simple.
I couldn’t endure any video ad.
That was the sorrowful part of my game test.
Playing the game consecutively for seven days is still achievable.
But the real challenging part is to endure 100 video ads.
Just imagine the level of madness.
Yeah, as far as madness is concerned, do you still remember I mentioned madness earlier in the article, right?
Another madness is the mandatory video ad display.
Sometimes, when you receive any in-game reward, there will be no “x” for you to reject the rewards.
The game forcefully displays a video ad for you regardless of whether you like it or not.
So, everything that we discovered thus far suggests a brutal ugly truth.
The game is desperately leaning on video ads monetization.
Theoretically, you could potentially receive the earned virtual cash in the game.
But the realistic scenario suggests otherwise.
Even if you don’t want to receive any other rewards in the game due to the video ads, you still have to endure 100 video ads to unlock the redemption.
That’s the tricky part, my friends.
Besides, I always remind and tell my readers that when something looks too good to be true, it is.
Don’t fall for any games that offer insane lucrativeness.
The Pros – What I like About Merge Money Ball
- Free to play
- Easy to get started
The Cons – What I Dislike About Merge Money Ball
- Excessively monetized with video ads
- Unpleasant gaming sessions due to video ads
- Questionable real payouts
My Final Thoughts
Initially, Merge Money Ball can be a very enjoyable casual game to pass time.
But its monetization implementation ruins the fun and excitement.
I didn’t have fruitful gaming sessions during the test.
If you are here for the game, I don’t endorse it to you.
How about all the potential rewards?
You may ask.
My honest advice is to forget them.
Nothing will be materialized.
You will not receive any rewards even if you can endure the 100 video ads requirement.
Believe me, I’ve reviewed countless similar games with reward traits with only one outcome.
Disappointment.
That’s the truth, my friends.
Hence, if you are here solely for the rewards, I suggest you not to waste valuable time.
Now, if you ask me, David, are there much better alternatives to earn money online?
Well, the answer is yes, there are.
I highly suggest you check out my Freecash review, it’s a detailed article on everything about the platform, specifically the earning parts.
Freecash is arguably one of the best rewarding platforms in the world.
It’s phenomenal in every aspect, and more importantly, there are plethoras of ways to earn coins that are redeemable for lots of rewards including cash withdrawals.
Additionally, I also encourage you to check out my PrizeRebel review.
It’s also my top recommendation when it comes to generating extra income online.
