Jewel Village Review – Can You Earn By Merging Gems?
Hello everyone, It’s David here, I hope you are doing well.
Welcome to my Jewel Village review article.
Nowadays, there are countless reward games available on Google Play.
It’s no surprise that you discovered another one called Jewel Village.
It has similar traits to most reward games.
The question is, can you really earn by playing?
Is it even logical?
What are your chances of redeeming any real payouts?
Are there any hidden truths?
Let’s find out all the answers in this review article.
What Is Jewel Village?
Jewel Village is a relatively popular game available on Google Play.
Its popularity has surpassed the one million downloads mark.
What is the main reason for attracting so many players and even new potential players?
I guess the answer is quite obvious.
It’s because of its lucrative rewards.
To join the big family, you just need to download and install it.
You don’t have to create a game account to begin.
When you launch the game for the first time, it will pop up a message showing you the opportunity to redeem an iPhone Watch.
The requirement is to launch the game for three consecutive days.
So, right from the beginning, the developer is enticing you to stay and keep playing.
There’s a hidden truth.
I will explain in just a moment.
Before we proceed, if you are tired and disappointed with all the empty promises to make money online, discover my favorite way to generate $1000 and more monthly with affiliate marketing.
How Do You Earn With Jewel Village?
Jewel Village has two types of rewards.
First, it’s the iPhone Watch I mentioned earlier.
Second, it’s the virtual monetary value both in the form of Amazon Gift and PayPal Cash.
To redeem all the potential rewards, you just have to start playing!
Its game mechanics are simple.
Whenever you enter the game, it will present you with a board containing various gems in different shapes and quantities.
Your task is to merge them to redeem the virtual cash amounts.
It’s that simple.
How do I merge the gems?
You may ask.
Well, that’s a solid question.
You tap on any of the gems that you want to merge and drag it to combine with other similar gems.
That’s the fundamental part of the game.
Here’s what the merging interface looks like.
To enhance your merging experience, this game has three tools to help you.
They are:
The hammer tool
This tool is very useful if you want to eliminate any specific gems that are preventing you from a clean merging.
The “minus 1” tool
This tool allows you to decrease any gem’s “quantities” to ease your gameplay.
Sometimes, you may face a challenging moment when the unmatched “gems’ quantities” are preventing you from progressing efficiently.
The “plus 2” tool
Similar to the “minus 1” tool, this tool adds two quantities to any specific gems.
As you progress further down the road, the merging becomes more difficult.
That’s the moment you realize the usefulness of all the available tools.
But they say nothing comes for free, right?
It’s no different with Jewel Village.
If you want to continue enjoying the game’s enhancements, you have to endure watching video ads.
And these ads are unskippable.
You have to watch them entirely before a certain number of additional tools usage is added.
When you run out of tool usage, a message will pop up offering one chance of tool usage by watching a video ad.
Here’s what I mean.
It gives you a hint with the small little video sign.
When you tap on it, a video ad will begin playing instantly.
So, imagine how many additional tools you need to progress the merging much smoother.
A lot and countlessly a lot, my friends!
That’s why I mentioned in the beginning that there might be hidden truths behind the idea of the entire game’s creation.
One of them is video ads monetization.
And I’ve tested the game.
These ads are unattractive and look spammy to a certain extent.
Do take note of that.
Another hidden truth is in-game monetization.
Jewel Village allows you to bypass all the tediousness of watching ads by paying with real money.
Yeah, that’s right, my friends.
There’s a VIP subscription that costs $4.99 per week.
Let’s do the math.
Say you want to reap the most benefits to earn the virtual rewards faster.
One month of playtime will cost you $4.99 x4 which is equivalent to $19.96.
Is it worth paying to skip all the ads?
Well, it’s not worth it.
I will back up my argument in just a moment.
If my reasons resonate with you, then you shouldn’t be spending a single dime on this game.
How Do You Get Paid?
You merge non-stop gem after gem.
You also happily receive all the virtual amounts.
You watch countless video ads.
How do you convert all those virtual amounts to real monetary value?
Well, Jewel Village sets the redemption threshold at $500 For PayPal Cash and $1000 for Amazon Gift Card.
When you reach any of the mentioned thresholds, it allows you to redeem theoretically.
What do I mean by that?
Well, on paper these are the redeemable amounts.
But realistically, what are your chances of receiving any real payouts?
The truthful answer is don’t invest too much hope into it.
I’m not very optimistic about receiving any real payouts.
You should have the same mentality as well.
More ads will be presented to you when you want to request real rewards.
Ask yourself consciously, can you earn so easily by just merging gems endlessly?
It doesn’t make any complete sense, right?
Even worse, the developer knows exactly what you hate.
You hate video ads.
Hence, there’s a VIP subscription to bait you to keep progressing in the game.
At the end of the day, instead of receiving payouts, there’s a risk for you to put money into the developer’s pocket.
That doesn’t look ideal at all, right?
Besides, I always remind and tell my readers that when something looks too good to be true, it is.
Stick to this philosophy and you will be safe from being victimized by unethical individuals.
The Pros – What I like About Jewel Village
- Free to play
- Nice looking game interface
The Cons – What I Dislike About Jewel Village
- Unknown chances of receiving real payouts
- Heavily monetized with video ads
- Has a VIP subscription that hurts your wallet
My Final Thoughts
Jewel Village could be a fantastic casual game to pass time.
But then its video ads monetization ruins the core positive trait.
As soon as you discover endless video ads are waiting for you, that doesn’t help in your overall satisfaction and enjoyment.
If you love playing a casual game, there are better alternatives that are much better such as Candy Crush Saga.
How about the potential payouts?
I’ve mentioned my arguments earlier that you can’t receive any real rewards including the Iphone Watch price.
These are the baits to lure you into watching countless video ads and even purchasing its weekly VIP membership.
Now, if you ask me, David, are there much better alternatives to earn money online?
Well, the answer is yes, there are.
I highly suggest you check out my Freecash review, it’s a detailed article on everything about the platform, specifically the earning parts.
Freecash is arguably one of the best rewarding platforms in the world.
It’s phenomenal in every aspect, and more importantly, there are plethoras of ways to earn coins that are redeemable for lots of rewards including cash withdrawals.
Additionally, I also encourage you to check out my PrizeRebel review.
It’s also my top recommendation when it comes to generating extra income online.
You can participate in various tasks such as surveys to kickstart your earning journey.
So, I hope you found this review article helpful and informative.

Dear Mwase Demiano,
The developer of this game will never pay a single dime
I highly recommend you stop spending valuable time on it.
Uninstall the game and never look back.
Best regards

I got all the way to the end. and had watched far to many videos etc. The last task is guess what, you have to pay a platform processing fee to redeem your payout!
Out of interest I decided to see what happened if I did and guess what again, you cannot pay the redemption fee!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP!

You are right, this app isn’t worth our time and effort.
It doesn’t make any complete sense.
Why would an app developer request a fee to honor any payout requests?
That’s insanely unacceptable.
For those of you who are reading this, you’ve been informed.
Do not waste time on this app.
